Prayer (Cesli Vaccaro): O God, who by the glorious resurrection of Your Son Jesus

Christ destroyed death, we remember before You this day our sister, Leanne. We

thank You for giving her to us to minister Your life and wholeness to so many. We

ask that You would open the eyes of our hearts to see in death the gate to eternal life

so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth, until, by Your call,

we are reunited with Leanne and others who have gone before; through Jesus Christ

our Lord. Amen.

who was reborn by water and the Spirit in Holy Baptism. Grant, we pray, that her

life and death may recall to us Your victory over death, and be an occasion to renew

our trust in Your Father’s love. Give us the faith to follow You as did Leanne; that

You may be glorified through our lives as it was through hers. Amen.
